Our Story

Jadestone was formed in 2004 when Shelley discovered the benefits of jade stones for massage. Strongly attracted to the simplicity, diversity, and therapeutic benefits of this technique, Shelley studied intensively with Jim Dorr, founder of Jade Therapy Stone in Santa Monica, California.

Shelley Killeen, the owner, and operator of Jadestone Massage Company has over 20 years of experience in the spa, health, and wellness industry. She is a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage British Columbia, an Esthetician, and has an instructor’s diploma from Vancouver Community College.

Jadestone Massage workshops span across Canada for individuals and private group training, and our online workshops are offered internationally. Sharing Jadestone massage continues to be an exciting journey for Shelley, having conducted seminars and held booths at trade shows in Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, and Montreal for the past 14 years, including Leading Spas of Canada, West Coast College of Massage Therapy, and Esthetic International Spa Show. Shelley was also invited to be a Featured Instructor at the Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapists conference in 2020.
